Public perception of the Kosovo Specialist Court

Public perception of the Kosovo Specialist Court: Risks and opportunities analyzes the results of a Kosovo-wide survey of public opinion on the new Kosovo Specialist Court. Produced by PAX and its partners, Centre for Peace and Tolerance, Impunity Watch, and Integra, the report concludes that public awareness of the Court’s purpose, mandate and scope is low, and that the contentious political context of its establishment could undermine social acceptance of the Court’s work in the long-term. Based on these findings, the report presents recommendations to key policymakers that aim to strengthen prospects of the Kosovo Specialist Court’s work delivering a positive societal impact.
